Thanks to our coworkers at ATRIUM we sold all the handmade MARTENITSA from the workshop and donated the funds to support the treatment of 14-year-old Georgi, who is fighting leukemia
Happy Baba Marta! We welcomed the traditional Bulgarian holiday to ATRIUM CoWorking with handmade martenitsa – red and white threads, colored wool, patterned beads, felt – all these materials turned into traditional Bulgarian Pizho and Penda under the skilful hands of colleagues and friends who gathered under the glass roof of ATRIUM.
For the beginners in the craft, the skilled ones offered some lessons. Our pals from DevOcean Solutions, Flax and Teal Limited, Tech Research, as well as psychotherapist Violeta Savova – they all became part of our colorful workshop that lasted the whole day.
Slavi and Tsanislav from Finance Incorporated Limited also supported the initiative, although their work commitments did not permit them to create their own martenitsa.
The ATRIUM team made a special charity bazaar with all the beautiful works, and donated the funds (400 BGN) to one of the causes suggested by the coworkers around which we unanimously united: “Let’s help Georgi get better.”
Georgi is 14 years old and for almost 6 months now he has been fighting a difficult battle with the diagnosis of “Acute Lymphoblastic T-Cell Leukemia”.
If you also wish to support this cause, you can find more info here.
In the month when we all wish to be healthy and happy, we wish Georgi the most precious thing – an abundance of health!
